Fact vs Fiction for the Fiction Writer
"By the time the imagination is finished with fact,
believe me, it bears no resemblance to the fact."
~ Philip Roth
Facts are pretty much unimportant to the fiction writer.
It is the emotion behind the facts or "truth" that is the
fiction writer's holy grail. It is emotion, not facts that makes us human.
