The Second Sunday of the Month

January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13
3-5:30 p.m. Emily's Home, Yorktown, NY

Creativity is a visceral experience born of a deep longing for authenticity that carries us inward to a self we often do not consciously know. Creative people hunger for this self that dances to a song the outer world cannot hear much less understand. What is the source of the sweet, maddening, exhilarating fire that drives us to create? How can we own it and express it more fully?

After twenty-five years of leading people on the creative journey, I know that sharing with others who speak your language, the language of creativity, who have experienced your struggle to express yourself and have tasted your hunger to keep the path to the well clear and open is of paramount importance. To this end, I offer writing workshops and one-on-one coaching, but I feel that we need more. We need a circle that is our own, one that explores creativity not only as a writing experience but as a life journey.

We need to know we have a place to be with others who walk our path not only through the channel of our writing but also through the channel of our heart, our dreams, our creative soul, a circle that welcomes us and is a home.

This is the germination of this monthly gathering, Spirit of the Wind, Carry Me Home. It is open to anyone on the creative journey. Each circle will be different as we explore and grow together.

We will meet on the second Sunday of each month from 3-5:30 at my home in Yorktown Heights, NY. I hope to see you there! $25.

Bring yourself, paper, pen and your unfettered creative yearnings!
