About Emily And Contact Her
I'm a novelist with a passion for teaching others how to unleash their stories onto the Blank Page. I know how to do this: I've been a fiction writing coach for thirty years.
The experiences I've gained through a lifetime of writing are the basis for guiding my students from the blank page to a finished manuscript. I have eight books published, including Petersburg, which sold to GP Putnams for $250,000. |
The paperback was sold to Dell for another $200,000. Petersburg was on the Best Seller's List, and was translated into Italian, German, and Spanish. I've had many articles published on writing and the creative process, and I've been published in Writer's Digest. I've also published a non-fiction workbook, The Art of Fiction Writing.
I graduated from Barnard College with a BA in Writing and English Literature, and was a founding member of the National Writer's Union and co-creator of the hugely popular Westchester County Annual Writing Conference.
When we work together as you write your manuscript, these are the experiences I use to support and lead you on your own fiction writer's journey.
