GROUP CLASSES:
A Group Class does have its own unique feature -- the different insights about your work that are offered by the other members. This feature has two benefits:
  • When you're critiquing another’s work, you yourself grow as a writer. You develop insights that you can apply to your own work as well as to the work of others.
  • Receiving input from three to five other writers, as well as from me, does wonders in advancing your work.
It’s important to understand and accept that critiquing is about building people’s work, never tearing it down. I am adamant that every writer, whether a beginner or a published author, feels nurtured and supported by the entire group.

Emily's Foundation℠ -- Group Classes:

In-person at my home in Westchester County, NY, or by phone. I approach these classes, which meet once a week for ten sessions, in the same way as my One-on-One work. However, because there are four to six people in a class, there’s less time devoted to each individual’s story or book than during One-on-One coaching.
Currently, both the In-Person and Telephone Weekly Writing Workshops have no vacancies. Please call me if you'd like to be put on the waiting list for either Group Class: 914-962-4432
