Hourly Fiction Writing Sessions With Emily Hanlon
Learn To Write Like Your Characters Really Exist: The journey into fiction writing is different for everyone, and the demands on you as a writer can vary with the genre!
But whether you're writing Historical Fiction, a Mystery Novel, a Modern Thriller, Women's Fiction, or using fiction writing techniques to write a Memoir, it isn't the perfectly turned phrase that leads you down the path of the fiction writer's journey.
Rather, it's learning the techniques and gaining the confidence to unleash the imagination and set free those characters we know live inside us, just waiting to have their stories put down on the page. Doing this successfully is one of the greatest joys a fiction writer can have. The imagination is our life blood. It is the ultimate expression of who we are and always have been.
Getting Started: The Introductory One-Hour Session
Whether you've never written before or you're a more experienced writer, this one-hour Introductory session is a great way for you to experience my coaching. I'll read up to 50 pages of your writing, and then we'll talk about where you're at and how we'll get to where you want to go.
After the Introductory Session, you can sign up for my 5 or 10-hour coaching program.
We can work by phone or in person. I live in Northern Westchester County, about an hour north of Manhattan.
The goal of my private session programs is to understand your strengths and weaknesses as a fiction writer, develop your characters and plot, and explore the potential arcs of your story-line and have you finish your novel. We set up a writing schedule that works with your life-style and keep you writing and growing as a fiction writer.
