Afternoon Break until 3:15. On some afternoons, we leave this unshceduled. It is your time for sitting on the rocks and soaking up the sun and sea air on our 300 feet of the rocky Maine coast, enjoying the hot tub, walking on trails near the house, reading, napping, writing, sitting around an talking with others, etc.
On other afternoons, there are scheduled group activities such as exploring the wonders of Acadia National Park, a group, lunch and shopping in town and a naturalist boat ride in Frenchman's Bay: we see eagles, seals, dolphins and more!
3:15 - 6:00. How we use this time varies from day to day. Sometimes we continue to read and critique our writing. Other times we write and still other days, we have what I call "creativity afternoons." What we do is always a surprise and can include crafts: anything from mask making to an exploration of what it means to be a "Warrior for Your Creativity"!
6:30 Dinner, a gourmet meal every night! (One night we go out for dinner to one of Bar Harbor's fine restaurants.
7:30-9:30 An evening program that includes open readings... we read for each other's delight. No critiquing, just being read to!
Other evening activities may include a movie, spontaneous discussion and creative, fun experiences, even stargazing. The night sky over the ocean is amazing!
