In these unsettling and fearful times when we need each other the most, there is unfortunately little place for community and sharing. The Unleashed Writer's Cafe is designed to bring us together, escape into the imagination and allow the Inner Writer to stretch her wings and fly!
Timed writing sessions in a group setting are extremely freeing and productive. You simply choose one of the picture prompts or jump off lines I offer, put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard and write for twenty minutes. You don't have time to think much less worry. Like magic (and it is magical!) you find yourself in unexpected places with unexpected characters and writing with unexpected fluency!
There is time for participants to read and receive feedback through fin techniques I call the What Ifs and What Happens Next in storytelling. Since these are first draft writes, and the aim is to open up the story through imaginative feedback.
Thursday, March 26 and April 2, 12-2 pm ET. Sessions run for two hours and are recorded.
